How much do a home visit and an IV drip at home cost?
Doctor home visits from 500,000 ₫, IV drips at home from 300,000 ₫ and patient care from 300,000 ₫. The exact cost depends on the service, timing and area, and is confirmed before you book.
Is an IV drip at home safe?
IV drips are given only when a doctor prescribes them. The nurse uses sterile single-use supplies and stays to monitor the patient for the whole session; if anything unusual appears, the nurse stops the drip, gives initial care and contacts the doctor.
Do you work with health insurance?
Doctor Happy does not currently accept Vietnamese public health insurance (BHYT).
How soon can a doctor arrive?
In central Ho Chi Minh City, a doctor usually arrives about 30–45 minutes after your booking is confirmed, depending on distance and traffic. You can also book ahead for a convenient time.
Can the doctor prescribe medication?
Yes, when needed, and the doctor explains how to take it.
Do doctors work on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes. You can book outside office hours, subject to doctor availability in your area.
Is my information kept confidential?
Your personal details and medical records are kept confidential and used only for advice, booking and medical care.
When should you not use home care?
If there are emergency signs such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, fainting, seizures, weakness or paralysis on one side, heavy bleeding, or high fever with drowsiness, call 115 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Home care is suitable for stable conditions that do not need emergency treatment.
